About Malcolm "Calum" MacLeod
Malcolm MacLeod was a crofter, fisherman, and compulsory officer (truancy officer), as well as the maternal grandfather of 45th United States President Donald J. Trump.
A croft is a fenced or enclosed area of land, usually small and arable, with a crofter's dwelling thereon. A crofter is one who has tenure and use of the land, typically as a tenant farmer, especially in rural areas.

Malcolm MacLeod was the son of Alexander MacLeod (1830–1903) and Ann Macleod (1833–1905). He is the maternal grandfather of Donald John Trump.
He married to Mary Smith on 23 Apr 1891 at Back Stornoway (Steòrnabhagh), Isle of Lewis, Ross-shire, Outer Hebrides), Scotland. They had these offspring:
