1. According to The Royal Genealogies Website (ROYAL92.GED), online (http://www.daml.org/2001/01/gedcom/royal92.ged. Hereinafter cited as Royal Genealogies Website). Kathlin is indeed the daughter of Poppa. There she is named as Kaithlin de Normandi [Anna Pétursdottir].

According to "The Book of Settlerments/Landnamabok" and "Laxdaela" she was a daughter of Rollo, both books were written in the 12th and 13th centuries.

From section 84, page 44, of "The Book of Settlements: Landnámabók" By Herman Palsson (1972):

"Ottar [grandson of Ketil Flat-nose] had yet another son called Helgi who raided in Scotland, where he captured Nidbjorg, daughter of King Bjolan and of Kadlin, Ganger-Hrolf's daughter. Ottar made Nidbjorg his wife, and their sons were Osvif the Wise and Einar Scales-clatterer."

Cadlin/Kathleen, said by Norse sources to have married a certain king Beolan, who is otherwise unidentified. .

Rollo & his [first wife] had two children:

1. KADLINE . Her parentage and marriage are confirmed by the Landnáma-Boc which records that "son of Oht-here…Helge" captured and married [her daughter] "Nidh-beorg, daughter of king Beolan and Cadh-lina, daughter of Walking-Rolf [Gongo-Hr%C3%B3lfs]" when he "harried in Scotland", and also records their descendants[45]. No other record has been found of "king Beolan" and the accuracy of this report is unknown. m BEOLAN King [in Scotland].
