About Judith Spencer

Judith Scrivener was born about 1613 in Suffolk, England. She married Abraham Spencer and died in the Colony of Virginia about 1660.

Children

  1. Thomas SPENCER (1636-1708)
  2. George SPENCER (1638-????)
  3. John SPENCER (1638-1709)
  4. William SPENCER (1640-????)

Although we do not know who Judith Scrivener's parents or family were, it is relevant that there had been a Scrivener in Jamestown at an earlier date (Matthew Scrivener in Wikipedia and in Geni), the son of Ralph Scrivener and Mary Dowsing Smith, and brother of John Scrivener. Could it be that Judith was of this family?

___

Considering the fact that her parentage seems strictly speculative, I removed the relationship until further evidence comes to light.
