About Jose Yap
Jose Yap was a Filipino lawyer and politician. He had served as the Mayor of Victoria, Tarlac, from 1952 to 1959; and Governor of Tarlac from 1998 to 2007. He represented the second district of Tarlac at the House of Representatives of the Philippines from 1965 to 1972, from 1988 to 1998, and from 2007 to 2010, his death from prostate cancer.
