Jonet 'of Cullen' Ogilvie

Not the same as Janet Ogilvy, of Inverquharity, wife of Donald Farquharson, 1st of Monaltrie

Jannet 'of Cullen' Ogilvie, daughter of Alexander Ogilvie of Deskford and Findlater (d. 1544) and his wife Jonet Abernathy, was born about 1520.

Jannet married John GORDON 2nd of Pitlurg, son of John GORDON of Pitlurg, Botary and Langar and Daughter STUART. (John GORDON 2nd of Pitlurg was born about 1498 and died on 10 September 1547 in Battle of Pinkie Cleugh, near Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland 1.)

1. GORDON, John 3rd of Pitlurg+, d. 16 Sep 1600. Married Isabel Forbes.

"His (John Gordon's) son John Gordon 3d (?) Laird of Pittlurge married Jannet Ogilvie of Cullen's daughter, with whom he begat a Son John Gordon of Pittlurge."
