I have seen reference -but not proof to his wife being Joan LeEyre.
Middle name given in numerous secondary sources as Richard (though middle names generally were not in use by the English culture at the time that this person was alive).
Peerage of England by Arthur Collins (1756), gives his birth place as "Lombardy". The source for Hampshire as his birthplace is apparently John Burke, who wrote his work on extinct and dormant baronetcies in 1838. Peerage of England claims he arrived to live in England during the reign of Henry IV (1399-1413).

Excerpt of XIII. Rich, Earl of Warwick and Holland, in Peerage of England.
The first I find of this family is John de Rich, Esq. (Pat. 11 H. IV. m. 6); born in Lombardy (northern Italy, land that was occupied by the Lombard League, which was disbanded in the century before his birth, in 1250), who was living in England in the reign of King Henry the fourth, (Pedig. of Nobility, by Lilly, penes Joh. Com' Egmont), and had issue Richard Rich of London, Esq.; who died in 26 Henry VI, seized of lands in Springfield, Little Waltham,, Great Leys, Tirling, and Boreham, (all) in Essex (Efc. 26 H VI), and was buried in the church of St. Lawrence Jewry, London (Lilly praed.), leaving issue, among other children (Ibid) Richard Rich, who was of the company of Mercers of the City of London, and executed the office of Sheriff of that city, an. 1441, (in the 20th of H. VI.) and founded a certain alms-house at Hodsdon in com' Hertford.
