Constance Geddyng was the daughter of William Geddyng of Icklingham, Suffolk and Margery Watkins.[1][2][3] She was her father's main heir.[1][2] Her birth date is uncertain.
Constance married twice. Her first husband was Henry Poley of Badley, Suffolk, son and heir of Simon Poley and Margaret Alcock.[1][2][4] They had two children, Edmund and William.
Constance's second husband was John Aleyn or Allen[1][2] of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.[3] They had four children:
- William[1][2]
- Joan, who married someone with the last name Talmache[1][2]
- Anne, who married Bartholomew Kemp[1][2][5][6]
- Elizabeth, who married Richard Bocking[1][2]
John's will (dated 1511) was proved in 1513, so he must have died no later than 1513.[1][2]
Constance survived her second husband, and was living in 1524.[1][2]
