General Notes: He [Reynold de Cobham] married, Joan, daughter of Thomas (DE BERKELEY), LORD BERKELEY, by his 1st wife, Margaret, daughter of Roger (DE MORTIMER), EARL OF MARCH. She had a portion of £2,000, and the manor of Langley Burrell, Wilts. He died "of the second pestilence," 5 October 1361, and was buried in Lingfield Church. M.I. Will proved at Southwark 7 October 1361. His widow, who had dower assigned 10 February 1361/2, died 2 October 1369. Will, in which she directs to be buried at Southwark if she dies there, dated 13 August 1369, proved 23 May 1370 at the Archbisop's Palace, Orford, in Kent.
