About Jane Terry
aka Jane - Daughter of Nicholas Hardy & Agnes Hampton
Stephen probably immigrated in 1630 on the "Mary and John." He returned to England in 1633 and married Jane Hardy, bringing her to New England in 1634 on the "Recovery."
Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, Civil War General Joseph Hooker, educator John Dewey, Philo Taylor Farnsworth (inventor of television), and actor John Wayne are descendants.
Stephen Terry married (1) Symondsbury, Dorsetshire, 13 March 1633/4 Jane Hardey. "Stephen Tery's wife" was buried at Windsor on 5 June 1647.
They had five children: Mary GOODMAN, John, Stephen, Elizabeth Russell, & Abigail Kellogg.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Oct 31 2022, 1:46:28 UTC
