About Ida Josephine Maginniss
From The Times--Dispatch of Richmond, Virginia, of Sunday, Oct. 23, 1904:
Maginniss-Paalzow
The Philadelphia Press of Thursday, October 20th, says in speaking of the wedding celebration of a young lady who for several years resided in Richmond and is well remembered here:
"In the Church of the Atonement, Forty-seventh Street and Kingsessing Avenue, the wedding of Miss Ida Josephine Paalzow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Paalzow, of No. 1212 South Forty-sixth Street, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, and Mr. Frank Joseph Maginniss, son of Colonel and Mrs. T. H. Maginniss, of 3811 Spruce Street, took place last evening at 6:30 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. I.N. Stanger, rector of the church.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Paalzow, as maid of honor.
The bride's gown was of white duchess lace over messaline and chiffon. A diamond sunburst held her veil in place, and she carried lillies-of-the-valley and bride roses.
The maid of honor wore a ivory messaline, with lace applique, and carried pink chrysanthemums.
Mr. Lord Maginniss, the bridegroom's brother, acted as best man, and the ushers were Mr. John Faber Paalzow, a brother of the bride, Mr. Walter E. Maginniss, a brother of the bridegroom; Mr. Charles Winslow Puncheon, and Mr. Wilson Nevins.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Maginniss will reside in New York City."
