About Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester
"Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester (c. 1496 – 26 November 1549) was an English nobleman, son of Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert, 3rd Baroness Herbert. On his father's death on 15 April 1526, he succeeded as the second Earl of Worcester. From his mother, he inherited the title of Baron Herbert"

Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester (c.1496-26 Nov 1549) was the son of Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert, Baroness Herbert. He m.(1) Margaret Courtenay, daughter of William Courtenay, 1st Earl of Devon and Catherine Plantagenet, c.15 June 1514, with a Papal dispensation (2) Elizabeth Browne, daughter of Sir Anthony Browne and Lady Lucy Neville, bf.1527.
He succeeded his mother as 4th Baron Herbert between 1507 and 21 March 1513. He succeeded his father as 2nd Earl of Worcester on 15 April 1526.
He died on 26 November 1549 and was buried at Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales.
