Biography

Hannah Phelps, daughter of Timothy and Mary (Griswold) Phelps, born b4 Aug 1684 married in 1708 to Thomas Phelps (born 21 Aug 1687 in Poquonock, CT) son of John and Sarah (Buckland) Phelps. Hannah had 8 children with William before she died in 1726.<ref>"The Phelps family of America and their English ancestors: with copies of wills, deeds, letters, and other interesting papers, coats of arms and valuable records" by Oliver Seymour Phelps, and Andrew Tinkey Servin publ 1899 , p 96-97,p 111 https://archive.org/stream/phelpsfamilyofam01phel#page/111/mode/1up</ref> It appears that there may have been a Hannah Phelps who married ThomasPhelps, and an Ann Phelps, who married David Porter. Both were daughters of Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold.
