Grace Johnson Davis, 87, wife of Elmer Davis, Kokomo Route 5, died at 8:30 o'clock Thursday night at the St Joseph Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past 30 days. She was born Nov 28, 1882, in Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Martha (Hadley) Moulder. She moved to Indiana when a child. She was married to Will Johnson Feb 21, 1904, at West Middleton. He died September 7, 1930, near Greentown. She was married to Elmer Davis November 10, 1947. They lived at Guy, three miles south of Greentown. Three children were born to the first marriage, two of whom survive, Mrs Clarice Blunt of Scottsburg, Ind, and Mrs Irene Yount of Marysville, Ind. Ruth Emily died June 10, 1908. Surviving also are 10 grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs E H Kirkendall of Russiaville and Mrs Cora Hines of Russiaville. She was a member of the New Salem Friends church. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the New Salem Friends church with the Rev Clyde Watson officiating. Burial will be in the New London Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
