The site Geni has raised an inconsistency decal, claiming, falsely I might add, that our new found friend, Count Godfried/Gottfried/Ginbert Comte de Beaulac is too young to have fathered Gilette in 930. Yet if he was born in 911, he would have been only 29 when Gilette was born, so not too young at all. He was 8 years younger than his main wife, Mathilde de Luxembourg. They marred in 941, and the poor guy expired shortly thereafter, in 942, but not without first fathering Gilette, out of wedlock it seems. Not all that uncommon back in those days.

According to the site Pedigree, Godfrey's father was Gottfried von Beaulac.
