Disputed origins

It is now known that Giles FIFIELD was a brother of Richard FIFIELD of St. Michael's Parish, Barbados. One Robert BOYES, in a letter to his friend, "Richard FIFEILD", written aboard ship on 21 Nov 1653 & carried to Richard by Robert's kinsman, Theobald SHELLEYES, may provide a clue to the place of origin in England of the FIFIELDs. BOYES asked Richard to write home to Robert's mother & to one Peter EVANS & his father, mother & brothers & mentions elsewhere in the letter Grace EVANS, the sister of Peter EVANS living in London, England.
