George Stewart and Easter who married Jooh Mcasland. an extra George was inserted into his line. even in the article mentioned below, it is stated that he may be mythical. The profile pic is from the bicentennial address of the church that George Attended.
Profile photo added: The top profile is George Stewart II born 1701, the middle profile is George Stewart III born 1718 died 1784, and Col. George IV born 1735 died 1801 is on the bottom. All taken from Google reader-Stewart Clan Magazine Dec. 1928 p343. George Stewart III of Leacock, Lancaster, PA is seen as George(third) in the Stewart Clan Magazine of December 1928 screen page 343. The Link will follow at the bottom of these notes. This third George is shown by the land deed of 1785 fulfilling the order by will(implied) and probate upon the death of this George(says "lately deceased" or 1784) giving to his sons George IV b1735 and John b1739 the Leacock property first owned by deed in 1741 by the second George Stewart, named as the beneficiaries' grandfather, and was inherited by the third George upon the death in 1769 of his father and probated will. These deed transactions are "taken from Notes of the land records at Lancaster taken by Horace Dickerman", see below Stewart Clan Magazine p343 footnotes. After the 1785 deed of the Leacock property, Col. George IV disposed of his Leacock property and moved to W. Pennsylvania. Then two more sons of George III in 1789 named David and Joseph Stewart are deeded land in Lancaster County. Also the third George is shown to have had another son named Robert bc1737 who married Ann Lewiston of Lancaster in the St. James Church of Lancaster in 1756. This Robert b1737 is shown to be the brother of Col. George Stewart IV b1735 by Col. George's marriage to his first wife Sarah Whitehill in 1760 at the same St. James Church, Lancaster. Then Col. George Stewart after Sarah's death in 1778, married Susanna Wilson on April 22, 1779 in his Leacock Home. All these facts differentiate George III from George II making Col. George the fourth consecutive George born as George IV.
https://archive.org/details/stewartclanmaga00incgoog/page/90/mode/2... On this Google reader when at page 90, magnify the text several times so that the tiny numbers differentiating the Georges are clearly seen. Col. George is designated as George the fourth and there is no George the first among the latter 3 Georges. The first George is on the previous page #342 called George Steuart of Donegal, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania and would have to be the first George father of George II because of the consecutiveness of their birthdates, deaths (1733, 1769, 1784, 1801) and locations and well known movements and siblings. The other Col.(so called) George Stewart was born a year after George the fourth and was the son of George I's son, John. The second Col. George had a different wife, died in a much different year 1787 in a different location and had different children.
