Kerford's company, of Berkeley County, Va., where he was born.

He died in Decatur, Ind., and his widow drew a pension, 1842, for his service.

   1. Comment: This person is tagged as the son of L4T1-Q58 George Dewey King -- and I see absolutely no connection between the two persons. I don't have an Ancestry account, so many of the links are not available to me. Those that are, they're just not convincing. GD King is solidly entrenched in SC, birth to death. Several of the sources link better to Capt. George W King of the Darlington SC region, a totally different person.
