About George Henderson, 2nd of Fordell
Pinkie Cleugh was the last engagement between English and Scottish national armies. The English were commanded by Edward Seymour, Duke of Somerset, and the Scots by James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Arran. It was an English victory.

George Henderson, 2nd of Fordell was the son of James Henderson, 1st of Fordell and Helen Baty.[2]
He married, firstly, Katherine Adamson in 1517.[1]
He married, secondly, Marion Scott of Balwearie in 1539.[1]
He died on 10 September 1547.[1]
