- Henry III King of England granted custody of land of "Johannis de Sancto Johanne", during the minority of his heirs, to "Galfrido Dispensario" and granted the marriage of "dictorum heredum" to "Hugoni Dispensario fratri ipsius Galfridi" dated [Apr] 1230[138].
- King Henry III granted custody of lands of "Johannis de Sancto Johanne" to "Galfrido Dispensario…et Emma uxor eius", until the majority of his heirs, dated 21 Dec 1231[139].

Geoffrey Le De Spenser, second son, is stated to have been Lord of Martley in Worcestershire, and to have died 1251. He was father of John Le De Spenser, who, with others of the family, took part with the Barons in their wars against Henry III, and was taken prisoner at the battle of Northampton.
