FAYE A. CAMPBELL (LEDFORD) WHITSITT was the daughter of butcher Thomas G. and LeoniaCampbell. She was raised in Topeka, Kansas with older sister Hazel and younger brother Charles.

Faye had a 1st marriage to William Ledford. They had one child, Marian H. Ledford, 1925-1975.

By 1926 Faye, now a widow, her parents and her daughter Marian were in Nashville, TN. Faye worked as a stenographer for the TN Department of State Highways.

On January 1, 1940, in Nashville, Faye married her 2nd husband, bank manager William Heath Whitsitt, Jr.

Faye’s daughter Marian, who never married, lived with Faye and William until her death in 1975.

Faye is buried here with her husband, daughter, father and her Whitsitt in-laws.
