”May 21, 1729, a deposition was made by Richard and John Pearce to the effect that “Agnes Doliber, Eme Elwell, Eliza Paine, Nicholas Denning and George Denning were all the reputed children of Eme Browne, daughter of John Browne and wife of Nicholas Denning who formerly lived at New Harbour at the Eastward, near Pemaquid.”
