About Ellen Baldwin

When Ellin Alty and her twin sister Elizabeth were born in 1615 in Rufford, Lancashire, their father, Daniel, was 22 and their mother, Margaret, was 19. She had 6 children, three sons and three daughters with Edward Baldwin between 1640 and 1660. She died on 4 April 1688 in her hometown at the age of 73, and was buried there.

'WILL OF EDWARD BALDWIN OF RUFFORD, BLACKSMITH, 25th January 1672 In the name of God amen the twentie fift day of Januari Annoquedon 1672: I Edward Baldwin of Rufforth in the County of Lancaster, Blackesmyth, beinge sicke in Bodie, but of good and perfect mynd all Laude and praise bee given to allmightie God for the same, and Caleinge to rememberance the unce..... estate of this Life, and that all flesh must yeald unto death, when it shall please God to Calle, do..... Constitute, ordaine and declare, this my last will and testament, in manner and forme follow..n.....
