Commission of administration is by ____ granted joyntly to Thomas Harwood at marrying Lydia, the daughter of Eliz. Bushrod together with Mr. David Condon on behalf of the right to of Lt. Col. Jno Scarsbrook and Eliz. His wife dec'd being the elder(other?) daughter of said Elizabeth Bushrod, on all and singular the estate of the said Mrs Eliz. Bushrod, giving bond with good and sufficient security.

Notes for Elizabeth's mother:
She was not Mary Peirsey. Mary Peirsey (daughter of Abraham Peirsey); born circa 1613 at England; married first Capt.Thomas Hill by 1633; he died, then she married Thomas Bushrod Sep1657;her 2nd husband, his 1st wife, no issue. Mary Peirsey immigrated in 1623 to Jamestown, VA; on ship 'Southampton.' Capt. Thomas Hill resided at Stanley Hundred, Warwick Co., VA. He died before 1657.
Mary Piersey’s 2nd husband Thomas Bushrod was born about 1604. He resided at 'Essex Lodge', York Co., VA. His second wife was Elizabeth, named in his 1677 Will. She had by a previous marriage daughters Elizabeth and Lydia, and probably a son John Farley.
