Elizabeth Howse, b. say 1590; d. after Aug. 1630 when she testified about her father’s will; m. Eastwell 28 Sept. 1607, John Champion. They prob- ably were the parents of John Champion, bp. Eastwell 17 Nov. 1611, son of John Champion, and perhaps other children baptized in nearby Kent parishes; however, none of the entries lists the mother’s name.[1]


Origins

Rev. John Howse was born say 1565. He died 30 August 1630 (according to his probate) and was buried in Eastwell, Kent, 2 September 1630. A wife Alice was mentioned in his will and was buried in Eastwell 17 June 1640. However, his oldest three children may have been by an unknown first wife.[1]
