Edward Anscell of Westmounton

Edward Anscell was the son of John Anscell. He was born c.1494 at Taunton, Somerset, England. He married Wethlyan Powell. There were two known sons. He made his primary residence at Westmounton, Somerset, England. His date of death is not known, but is estimated at c.1550.

His mother possibly was named named Joan, but this is from a web tree and not proven.

• Thomas Anscell, b. 1520, d. April 27, 1591.
• Nicholas Ancell, b. 1523. Died without heirs.
