My wife's ancestor is Jonathan Lockwood (1707-1781) mar 1733 Freelove Wright. Jonathan's father was Daniel Lockwood, but in consulting different sources, there seems to be disagreement as to exactly who this Daniel was and who were this Daniel's parents.
- Jacobus: Daniel b 1668 s/o Ephraim L & Mercy St. John; m Sarah Benedict; d. Norwalk 1712.
- C.N. Hickok: Daniel Lockwood b 13 Aug 1668 s/o Ephraim & Mercy; d. at Norwalk before 7 Jan 1712/3; mar Sarah Benedict, dau of James, b. 16 Jun 1677.
- Holden: Daniel b.1668, s/o Ephraim L. & Mercy St. John; m. 1702 Charity Clements; d. 1744.
Jacobus and Holden seem to have different Daniels as the son of Ephraim. They start off the same, but Jacobus assumes he stayed in Norwalk, CT and died in 1712. Holden says Daniel went to Stamford, CT and died there in 1744. The two Daniels married different women.
