About Conrad Kunders

Biography

From https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kunders-2

Cunrad Kunders was born July 17, 1678, in Crefeld, Germany.[1] He is the son of Thones Kunders and Elin Streypers.[2]

Cunrad immigrated to America, with his parents and two siblings, aboard the Concord, which departed from London July 24, 1683. They landed in Philadelphia on October 6, 1683, after 74 days at sea.[3]

Cunrad married Ann Klinken on July 5, 1704.[4]

Cunrad married Anne Burson, as his second wife, on October 12, 1721. This marriage was recorded in the records of the Gwynedd Friends meeting and took place at the public meeting in Germantown. His father was at the wedding as were his brothers, Madtis, John and Henry, and Henry's wife, Katharine, who all signed the certificate.[5]

He bought 100 acres of land in Worcester from Robert Jones in 1723. A 1728 release given by him to Anthony Morris says that he was living in "New Bristol or Skippack". Another old document has him living at "Matachin".[6]

Cunraed seems to have spent most of his married life in Worcester Township in Montgomery County. [7]

Cunrad Cunrads died around February, 1747, in Worcester Township, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.[8]
