About Claes Johanson Janssen
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/150001118/claes-johnson
Claes Johnson was the son of Johan Claesson and Karin (surname unknown). He married Walborg Bengtsson (aka Bancson) about 1682. They had three boys namely John, Lawrence, Richard Johnson and three girls namely Gerretje aka Gertraud, Barbary aka Barbara, and Elizabeth Johnson. The boys inherited 700 acres of land at Neshaminy, Bucks, Pennsylvania. Formerly called the "Johnson-Williamson Cemetery" Claes Johanson donated this land (out of 700 acres much patented by William Penn) for a local cemetery. The *Johnson's* married into a vast majority, if not all, family members found here. In the late 17th and early 18th century grave markers generally consisted of "foot stones" with initials carved in.
