About Christian Lawrence
Christian was the widow of Henry Lawrence, and mother of John Lawrence, who married Susanna.
Although the exact date of his death seems to be unknown, the authoritative source accepted by Wikitree, Anderson's "Great Migration: Immigrants to New England 1634-1635, Volume IV, I-L, Page 245" clearly states that this Henry Lawrence died before 22 July 1646. The indisputable evidence is that on that date the widow, Christian Lawrence and her son John Lawrence sold real estate (a dwelling house and garden lot) to Nicholas Shaply of Charlestown. This information is recorded in the Charlestown Book of Possessions, page 138.

Baptism: 26 Feb. 1585 St. Philip & St. Jacob’s, Bristol, Gloucester, England. Her father is listed as Thomas Whyte. [1]
Henry Lawrence and Christian Whyte were married in 1607 in St. Denys, Warminster, Wiltshire, England. [2]
Christian (Whyte) Lawrence died in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The Charlestown Vital Records lists her death as 3 January 1647, but after making the necessary calendar correction, we get 3 March 1648. She is listed as a widow, as expected. [3] [4]
Note: None of the pages of the Charlestown Vital Records mentions the death of a Mary Lawrence in 1647 or 1648. That person didn’t exist.
