There is mistake on online trees, probably because of an error on Find a Grave. Jacob Ruby was married to Caty Painter in Shenandoah County, Virginia, on 21 Dec 1793, per Virginia, U.S., Compiled Marriages, 1660-1800, not Catherine Bender.

However, since there is a marriage record index for Jacob and Catherine Painter, it makes more sense that that is who he was married to, since the Bender family was in Pennsylvania and not Virginia.
