Catherine Simcock was born about 1691 in King George,King George, Virginia She was the wife of Joseph Berry and was named in his will along with their six children (all males).

Her husband's Will of 1749 he mentions his father, WIlliam Berry; brother, Enoch Berry; grandfather, Enoch Doughty (his mother's father); wife Catherine Simcock Berry and six sons: (no daughters are mentioned)

• i. Frances Berry was born NOV 11 1721 in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia, and died 1791 in King George County, Virginia. She married Thomas Golding JAN 28 1738. He died 1738. She married Thomas Dobyns ABT 1743. He died 1748 in Caroline Co, Virginia. She married James Davis 1749 in King George County, Virginia, son of Joshua Davis and Frances Harrison. He was born ABT 1731, and died FEB 1808 in King George County, Virginia.
• ii. Joseph Berry was born APR 27 1723 in Stafford County, Virginia (now King Geo), and died APR 1807 in Frederick Co, Virginia. He married Mary Fairfax ABT 1748. She was born ABT 1725, and died ABT 1775. He married Huldah Huitt ABT 1780. She was born ABT 1755, and died 1823 in Frederick Co, Virginia.
• iii. Benjamin Berry was born OCT 16 1724 in Stafford County, Virginia, and died 1820 in Henderson Co, Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Thornley BEF DEC 23 1758, daughter of John Thornley and Anne Woffendale. She was born ABT 1730 in King George County, Virginia ?.
• iv. Margaret Berry was born JUN 14 1726 in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia.
• v. Withers Berry was born ABT 1730.
• vi. Thomas (Capt) Berry was born ABT JUL 1733 in "Berry Plain", King Geo Co, Virginia, and died DEC 18 1818 in Frederick Co, Virginia. He married Frances Kendall AUG 1757 in Frederick Co, Virginia, daughter of Samuel Kendall and Elizabeth Woffendall. She was born ABT 1735 in King George County, Virginia, and died 1806/1818 in Frederick Co, Virginia.
