BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

?Catam? Phelps, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Phelps, was baptized in Shepton Beauchamp, Somerset, on April 11th., 1769; on December 15th., 1796, in Shepton Beauchamp, Katherine Phelps, of that parish, spinster, married Joseph Bragge, bachelor, of Ilminster, Somerset, in the presence of William Naish and John Stephens; Joseph and Catharine had issue:
1. Joseph Bragge, son of Joseph and Catharine Bragge of Ilminster, Somerset, born on April 26th., 1801 and baptized in Shepton Beauchamp, Somerset, on May 4th., 1802.
