About Carl Alexander Rhoads
DOB in death certificates says 24 jul 1901, this has been changed (old data says 22. Jul 1901) According to his WWII draft registration 22 Jul 1901 is his actual birthday.
Carl Alexander Rhoads is my father's biological father. My dad never knew of his existence until it became necessary for him to present a birth certificate as a teen. His mother Anna Belle (Butler on adoption papers but was able to determine her biological parents were George Boswell and Myrtle Cooper through DNA testing) "adopted name Farrin" became pregnant and gave birth while in Texas and was never married to Carl. My dad's birth certificate lists him as "not named" Rhoads. Due to my grandmother's lifestyle (5 kids 4 different fathers) my dad always doubted Carl was his father and used the name he was called by (James Andrew Miller) which was also the name of the next man Anna Belle had a relationship with. I had DNA tests done and was able to confirm that Carl Rhoads was in fact my dad's biological father. Carl is mentioned in Harvey Buford Rhoads book "The Last of the Wildcatters" (Carl was his uncle) and is said to have had a club foot and hand yet was able to fly a plane. Carl married towards the end of his life and had a son but, he died shortly after the birth of that son.
