Adam was living in Woodbury CT in 1781 probably going to VT. in 1782. He was 92 years of age when he died. It is said that he was an Englishman who came over with Gen. Wolfe, and was at the capture of Quebec. Adam also was a Captain in the Militia Regt. 1779-New Haven Alarm and is listed as such in DAR National # 472501 and on page 548, Conn Men in the Revolution. Adam and Rebbeca had two known sons who served in the Rev. war and at least one son-in-law, Ephriam Hyde, who married daughter, Rebbeca.
