    Bledrig Aillt o Ddyfed had a son who is listed in the Welsh triads as one of three kings who were sprung from villeins (serfs).2 Bledrig Aillt o Ddyfed also went by the name of Bledrig "the Villein". He was born circa 795. A lowborn welshman.1 He married Tangwystl ferch Owain o Ddyfed, daughter of Brenin Ddyfed Owain ap Maredudd o Ddyfed, before 815.1
