Bernhard and Emma Loewenberg lived in Schenklengsfeld No. 12 (today: St. Georg Strasse 2).
Bernhard Loewenberg was deported to Buchenwald in November 1938. After some weeks he came back. He, his wife and his daughter left Schenklengsfeld for Fulda and Frankfurt. Bernhard and Emma Loewenberg were deported from Frankfurt to Theresienstadt on 15.09.1942 and from there to Auschwitz on 09.10.1944. (Karl Honikel: Geschichte der juedischen Gemeinde Schenklengsfeld.
