MOLONY.—On 16th October, 1934, .at Tauranga Hospital, Arthur James, husband of the late Gertrude Amy Molony, of Te Puke, aged 71 years. The funeral will leave the Tauranga Hospital at 10 a.m. on Friday for the Te Puke Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation. Mr Arthur James Molony. Another old resident of the district in the person of Mr Arthur James Molony, passed away at the Tauranga Hospital on Tuesday last. The deceased, who was a native of Canada, where it is thought a brother is still living, had resided in this district for the past 50 years, settling first in Tauranga and then taking up a section on No. 2 Road, Te Puke. His wife, who was a Miss Tanner, died some years ago. Latterly Mr Molony had lived in the township, removing a few months ago to Tauranga. He leaves an adult family of ten sons and daughters. The funeral took place at Te Puke Cemetery today, the Rev. Lea officiating at the graveside. TE PUKE TIMES, 19 OCTOBER 1934, PAGE 2.
