SWAIM FAMILY
"The Swaim family emigrated to America from Holland although many believe they were not of Dutch stock, but were English Pilgrims sojourning in Holland. The earliest record is of ANTHONY SWAIM, who came over from Holland in 1700 and settled on Staten Island in New York. From an old record we learn that he had four sons and his wife was a Huguenot lady.
