Her 1st husband was: Johann Gerhard "George" Albaugh. He passed at 56 years of age. Her 2nd husband was: Johann Adam "John" Beamer after George passed and John Adam lost his wife too. After this marriage, in the 2nd, for both widow/widower, four of their adult children, from their 1st marriages, married across. The four Beamer sons/brothers married four Albaugh daughters/sisters. Their widowed parents had married each other...thus five Beamer/Albaugh marriages in same area around the same time. (-Crystal Bruce, Johann Adam "John" Beamer's fifth great-granddaughter.)
Note*** Strassberger and Hinke ("Pennsylvania German Pioneers") list a Johann Phillipus Bohmer and a Johann Adam Bohmer as taking the "usual Oaths" at Philadelphia on 23 Sept. 1751, after arriving on the "Neptune", captained by James Weir. SOURCE: findagrave.com
"After rearing his family, great great grandfather (Albaugh) died. His widow married a man whose family name was Beamer. He was a widower with a family by his first wife. Strange as it may seem, four of his children married four of her children, thus making five matches between the two families. This entire family with their wives, children and husbands came to Carroll County, Ohio. They were early pioneers settling up this country. Great, great grandmother died on her way to Ohio. The four Beamers who had married the Albaugh girls, with their families, located near Carrollton, Dell Roy and Sherrodsville." (Information courtesy Marjorie Kern)
