Biography

Anne (Lumpkin) Eldredge immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Anne (Lumpkin) Eldredge was born about 1626 in England, daughter of William Lumpkin (~1600–<1671) and Thomasine (UNKNOWN) Lumpkin ( –1682).

Her siblings were:

Hannah (Lumpkin) Gray (1623–~1704)
Thomasine (Lumpkin) Sunderland (1626–1709)
Mary (Lumkin) Eldred (~1630– )
Anne (18) married William Eldredge (17) (born in 1627 in England) on 3 March 1645 in Plymouth Colony. Their known children were:

Bethia Eldredge (>1648–>1668)
Anne (Eldredge) Hyde (1648–1676)
Sarah (Eldridge) Colby (1650–~1731)
Elisha Eldredge (1653–1739)
John Eldredge (~1654–>1712)
Samuel Eldredge (~1655–1706)
Jehosaphat Eldredge (~1658–<1732)
Anne died on 1 November 1676 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony, aged about 49. She was buried in South Chatham Cemetery, South Chatham, Massachusetts.[1]
