Biography

Anne (Comeau) Dugas-LeVert was born in 1774 in St-James, Tensas, Louisiane, USA. Her parents were François Comeau and Félicité Leblanc. She had nine children.

Anne married Jean Baptiste Bonhomme Dugas on August 28, 1799 in Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada. Together they had the following children: Marie Dugas; Mathurin Didier Dugas. They also had Etienne Dugas, Marcel Dugas, Hilaire Dugas, Theotiste Catherine Dugas, Corneille Dugas, Anselme Dugas, Rosalie Dugas

Anne married Joseph LeVert. Together they had the following children: Joseph Eloi LeVert; Philippe Augustin LeVert; Auguste Pierre LeVert, Sr.; Euphrasie LeVert; Marie Urasie LeVert.

She died on January 7, 1832 in Thibodaux, Lafourche, Louisiana, USA.
