About Anne Bland, daughter of Sir John Bland, 5th Bt.

Anne Bland was the daughter of Sir John Bland, 5th Baronet of Kippax Park and his wife, Lady Frances Finch. She died unmarried, some time after June 1761.

Anne was an heiress of some fortune. She received a life annuity from her father's will and received substantial items from her mother's will, including heirlooms from her grandmother, the Countess Dowager of Aylesford. Upon the death of her brother Hungerford, she became tenants-in-common with her sister Elizabeth of the Kippax properties.

Her sister Elizabeth brought a court action against Anne on March 17, 1759, asking for an accounting of the estates in Anne's control and a proper division of those properties. She also requested the sale of some properties and personal effects of her brothers John and Hungerford, with the funds divided between the two sisters. Elizabeth died before the matter was settled.
