Hon. Anna Maria Poyntz

Hon. Anna Maria Mordaunt was born in 1712 in Midgham, Berkshire, England. Her parents were, Lewis Mordaunt of Windsor, Cork, Ireland and Mary Collyer from Jersey, England. In Feb 1734 she married the Right Honourable Stephen Poyntz, son of William Poyntz and Jane Monteage. She died on 14 Nov 1771.

She was a celebrated beauty of her day, praised by the poet Samuel Croxall in 'The Fair Circassian.1' From February 1732/33, her married name became Poyntz.4
