About Ann Taliaferro
Robert Taliaferro, son of John “the Ranger” Taliaferro and Sarah Smith, was born about 1689 in Rappahannock County (Essex County was not formed until 1692) to John Taliaferro and Sarah Smith, and died 01 Feb 1727/28. [1]
He probably married first to a woman possibly named Ann. Their daughter was Martha Taliaferro. Named in his 1728 will, presumably of age at that time. She is not named in Matthews records.
