Not a known daughter of Dr. William Lynn

It is unlikely that Ann was another sibling of Dr. William Lynn of Fredericksburg, Virginia. In his 1757 will, Dr. Lynn was careful to name not only those siblings who were still living but also those who had died, making bequests to children of those deceased, and there is no mention of a sister Ann or a sister with the married name Miller.[1] Ann's absence from the will would be accounted for if she in fact had died in 1750 and had also died childless, but she reportedly had seven children. A photocopy and transcript of the 1757 will of William Lynn are on his profile.
