Anne Reade Parry is the daughter of William Reade of Boarstall, Buckinghamshire, She 1st married firstly, Sir Giles Greville c1527-8 but he shortly deceased later in April 1528, so she quickly became a widow

She married 2nd Sir Adrian Fortescue, (as his 2nd wife, his first being Anne Stonor) in 1529. Knight of Bath, son of Sir John Fortescue and Alice Boleyn, daughter of Geoffrey. T had three sons and two daughters including Sir John, Thomas, Anthony.) Sir Adrian was beheaded on Tower Hill 10 July 1539 for his refusal to take the oath of supremacy.

Anne remarried for a 3rd time to Thomas Parry, the Comptroller of the Household, who died in 1575. He changed his surname from VAUGHAN to PARRY and became the treasurer of the Queen's Household (QE1) & Master of the Court of Wards and Liveries [temp QE1]. They had 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters. Thomas of Wallingford & Welford, Berkshire and Hatfield , Herts and Oakley Park, GLS. He entered the service of Princess Elizabeth by 1548, when he was her cofferer and was arrested in 1549 because of his knowledge of the activities of Lord Admiral Thomas Seymour but later released.

Their children were Thomas (1544-1616), Edward (b.c.1540), Anne, Frances, and Muriel (d.1616).
The Parry seat was at Wallingford, Berkshire, but Anne was in the household of Elizabeth Tudor both before and after Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth 1st. He was kinsman of William CECIL, Lord Burleigh and he'd notable descendants, poets Henry VAUGHAN (1622-1695) and William VAUGHAN (1622-1666) [2]
