Allyene Wynne

CRAWFORDVILLE Ga.- Mrs. Allyene Long Wynne, age 84, beloved wife of Mr. John Veazey Wynne entered into rest Saturday March 6, 2004 at the residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday March 8, 2004 at the Crawfordville Baptist Church with Rev. John Autry officiating. Burial will follow in Powelton Cemetery. Mrs. Wynne will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Wynne, a native of Red Level, Alabama had been a resident of Taliaferro County, Ga. for 54 years. She was a member of the Sharon-Raytown Garden Club, the Fidelis Sunday School class as well as the Crawfordville Baptist Church, and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 8 of Crawfordville and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John Veazey Wynne, of Crawfordville, Ga.; two daughters Judith W. (Ray) Pearson of Macon, GA and Luci (Randy) Hough of Peachtree City, Ga.; one sister, Lucile L. Fuller of Nashville, Ga. and four g randchildren:, Ray Cannon Pearson, Jr, Richard Wynne Pearson, John Sadler Young and Katherine McIntyre Young. Pallbearers will be Larry Veazey, Michael Butts, Bobby Moore, Perry Pittman, Bob Watson, Charles W. Green, John W. Bentley, and Phillip Gilbert.
