Military funeral services were held for Sergent Allen Leroy Kline, late of 1132 Guilford Street, at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, from the Rohland Parlors. Sergeant Kline was the son of the late Noah and Lillian Fessler Kline. Rev. Alden G. Biely, pastor of the Hebron Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiated. Interment followed at Ebenezer Cemetery. A firing squad composed of members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars included, William O'Donnel, in charge; George Snavely, Ed. Blessing, Charles Staley, Robert Putt, Russell Fritz and Lester Hoffman. The American Legion color guard consisted of Fred Kleinfelter, William Peters, John Harvey, and Harvey Rittle. Bearers were Frank Leffler, Fred Krause, Ralph Moore, Norman Rowe, Harry Mohnshine, Isaac Hoke, Paul Zehring and Elmer Crater. Rohland's was in charge of arrangements.
