MULLINVILLE- Allen Marshall Beckett, 83, died Jan. 20. 1994, at Hilltop House Nursing Home, Bucklin.

He was born Aug. 7, 1910, at Greensburg, the son of James Mark" Bud" and Josie Marshall Beckett. In 1931 he moved to Glendale, Calif., where he owned and operated an auto repair garage. He served in Europe with the Theater of Operations during World War II with the Lockheed Overseas Corp., and also served with the U.S. Corpos of Engineers in Alaska. He had also lived at North Hollywood, Calif., Oceanside, Calif., and Hemet, Calif., returning to Mullinville in 1982.

He was a member of the Church of Christ, Mullinville. On Aug. 24, 1981, he married Geneva Little at Greensburg, She died in 1980. On July 20, 1980 he married Ruth Price Ralstin at Mullinville.
