MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 0 Mrs. Alice Herndon Stephenson, 81, died Thursday morning at Carver Living Center.

Mrs. Stephenson was born in Durham Co., the daughter of the late Aurelia Margaret Thomas Herndon and the late Theodore Cotton Herndon. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Durham Drapery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood Raythell Stephenson.

Mrs. Stephenson is survived by two sons, Tim Stephenson and wife, Debra, of Clarksville, Va. and Mike Stephenson and wife, Kay, of Bahama; two brothers, Paul Herndon and wife, Sally, of Durham and Tom Herndon of Durham; a housemate of many years, Kay Ladd; six grandchildren, Chris Stephenson, Emily Moorefield, Jared Stephenson, Kaylon Honeycutt, Brantley Stephenson and Katie Stephenson; and six great-grandchildren.
